Misiluki Skincare – Full Skincare Line Review

Misiluki Skincare – Full Skincare Line Review

Misiluki is a brand of luxury skincare hailing from Samoa, and their products are created from one of my favourite natural ingredients….. coconut oil. Coconut Oil is such a rich ingredient that I find works wonders for my skin, and the oil included in the Misiluki products is 100% organic. As well as being extremely hydrating, coconut oil also assists with skin repair and is a key ingredient for assisting with anti-aging. While I’m not quite at the anti-aging stage yet, I’m doing everything I can to prevent it, so when products include some anti-aging ingredients, they get a big thumbs up from me!

The skincare range consists of six products which cover pretty much everything you need for a full skincare regime; a cleanser, a day cream, a serum, a face oil, an eye cream, and a lip balm. I wanted to share my thoughts on each product with a mini review of each.

MISILUKI VIVACIOUS FOAMING CLEANSER

Foaming cleansers are one of my favourite ways to cleanse and this cleanser is soft and velvety to the touch. It has a light scent, and dispenses from the 150ml pump bottle easily. One pump is all you need to cleanse your face and neck. This cleanser feels so nice on the skin, and it works well with my Clarisonic. I found it wasn’t that great at removing makeup though, so I definitely had to remove all traces of makeup before using this product. RRP $64

MISILUKI CHERISH DAY CREAM

When it comes to a day cream it’s got to be light yet hydrating, and sit well under makeup. This day cream ticks most of these boxes. It looks really lovely under makeup and it doesn’t cause any issues with foundation or powders moving throughout the day. It’s also lovely and light and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or dirty. In the summer its the perfect amount of hydration my skin needs, but in winter I feel like I need to apply this a couple of times to stop my skin from feeling on the drier side. If your skin is slightly more on the oily side (or you live somewhere warmer) then this could be a perfect moisturiser for you. RRP $81

MISILUKI SERENE FACE SERUM

I don’t usually use a face serum in my skincare routine, just because I generally find that a moisturiser and/or oil is enough, and some serums can leave the skin feeling heavy. I was actually surprisingly pleased by this serum however, as it actually feels really lovely on the skin. It’s light and non-greasy and absorbs into the skin reasonably quickly. I’ve been applying it before I go to bed, and then five or so minutes later, apply the oil over the top. RRP $110

MISILUKI DEMURE FACE OIL

While I might not be a huge fan of serums, I do love a good face oil and this one is quite different to others I’ve tried before. It’s a very light oil that feels featherlight on the skin, yet nourishing at the same time. It’s got a unique delicate scent that I like, and it feels lovely on the skin. The only thing I have noticed is that my oil starts to solidify quite easily. I live in a colder climate and sometimes this oil does tend to solidify with the colder weather, sometimes to a point where I can’t really use it properly. If you live somewhere warmer then this shouldn’t be an issue. It comes in a pretty amber bottle with a very cool dropper that allows you to dispense just the right amount of product. RRP  $97

MISILUKI BRILLIANT EYE CREAM

My favourite product of the six is without a doubt this eye cream. It is a luxurious cream that just melts into the skin under and around the eyes. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, but instead deeply nourishing. I’m very picky when it comes to eye cream, and this would have to be a solid favourite of mine. It’s even easy to dispense as it comes in a squeezable tube, meaning you can get every last little bit out. RRP $70

MISILUKI TIMELESS LIP BALM

Another favourite product in this collection is the lip balm. Formulated with coconut oil and beeswax this lip balm is seriously hydrating and soothing on the lips. It also provides a nice shine to the lips that looks pretty on its own or over lipstick. What I like best about this one is how long my lips stay hydrated for after applying. This also makes it a great option for applying just before bed. RRP $34

Misiluki Skincare Review
Overall this is a solid luxury skincare collection, that is completely natural. My top picks would be the eye cream, the serum, and the lip balm. All ingredients included in the Misiluki skincare range are natural, and the range is NATRUE Certified.  Another great thing about Misiluki is that they source their two key ingredients, coconut oil and fetau oil, from Women In Business Development Samoa. This organisation supports small organic farms that are owned by local families, so you know the ingredients are sourced ethically and fairly.

The Misiluki website is beautiful, so head over and take a look if you’d like to learn more about this brand. Have you tried it before? If so, let me know your thoughts below!

Please note: These products were kindly sent me by Misiluki to try. These views are my personal opinion and are no way influenced by others. I always provide an honest opinion, so you all know which products are worth purchasing
