I never really knew a lot about the importance of probiotics until recently, and now I feel like I’ve throughly incorporated them into my life. Not only have I been taking probiotic tablets to help with gut health, I’ve also been incorporating probiotics into my skincare routine. Say hello to one of my favourite new skincare products, the Tailor Skincare Renew Serum, the first NZ-made probiotic serum.
A probiotic serum basically contains active good bacteria that work on the surface of your skin to help provide balance and also encourage skin cell regeneration. Tailor Renew is also designed to work as an anti-aging skincare product, containing a unique blend of probiotic lysate and grapeseed oil, to help repair and stimulate the skin, as well as providing a protective barrier against harmful UV damage.
This serum is designed to be applied both morning and night, and is best applied straight after cleansing, and before any oils or moisturisers are applied to the skin. I’ve been using mine every morning, and I absolutely love how my skin feels after I apply it. It absorbs in almost instantly, leaving my skin feel incredibly smooth and soft to the touch. I then go about my regular moisturising and makeup routine.
I’ve noticed a definite change in my skin since I’ve started using this product. It looks much smoother and more radiant from within. I’ve also found that I’ve had to exfoliate less as my skin just doesn’t feel as dull or dry as it used to.
This serum is designed to be used on every skin type – even sensitive. I feel like everyone would benefit from this product, but you will especially love it if you have dull, dry or flaky skin. Since it’s designed to help promote more youthful, radiant looking skin, it’s also a great one to use, if like me, you are rapidly approaching your 30’s and are wanting to start including some products with anti-aging benefits into your skincare routine.
I’m really impressed with this serum, and Tailor Skincare as a whole. While I had heard of this brand before, it was only this year that I started to try some of their products. Each product is really well thought out, and contains ingredients that actually work. Plus the range is natural, cruelty free, and made in NZ!
