Sienna Byron Bay: Spring 17

As you guys probably already know, the only brand of nail polish I use is Sienna Byron Bay. There are two reasons for this. One, this brand is 7-free, meaning it doesn’t include many of the nasty ingredients that are in other nail polishes (you can read more about this here). Secondly, these nail polishes are SO long lasting and they have so many colours to choose from!

Sienna Byron Bay, recently sent me their Spring 17 collection, and I can’t tell you how excited I was to receive this. In fact, watching me open the package was probably pretty funny as I was just getting so excited pulling all of the beautiful shades out of the box! When it comes to nail polish, pinks are definitely my favourite shade, so all of these beautiful colours were right up my alley! There’s a lovely mix of creme and shimmer finishes, and all of the colours are so wearable either on fingers or toes.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been trying each of these colours out so I could bring you a full review of this gorgeous collection. It’s a tough job, but someones gotta do it, right? 😉

Muse was the first colour I tried, and was the first one that I actually pulled out of the parcel. I fell in love with this rich pink, described by Sienna Byron Bay as a “dusty rosebud pink”. It offers a pretty creme finish and is incredibly pigmented. I only needed two thin coats to get full opacity. While it’s so hard to pick a favourite, I think this may be the one.

Amity is described as a “dusty coral creme”, and this pretty peach polish is absolutely perfect for summer. It’s such a bright, fun colour that looks gorgeous on either fingers or toes and looks absolutely stunning when paired with a summery tan! I’ve had so many compliments on my nails while wearing this colour and it’s definitely a stand out shade!

Spirit
is the softest colour in the collection and this dreamy pink is the most perfect, girly shade. Described by Sienna Byron Bay as a “powder pink”, this shimmery nail polish is a subtle yet beautiful hint of colour on the nails. This one would make the most perfect wedding or special event colour!

Luxe is my second favourite shade. This “chocolate brown with frost shimmer” is a gorgeous blend of pink and brown. I love colours like this on my nails as they are so flattering with so many skin tones, and the pretty silver shimmer through the polish offers such a nice finish. This polish also seems to last the longest out of all five, and I get close to a week with this one!

Sol is described as a “warm peach pink shimmer”. Everytime I see this shade, I think this is what bottled sunlight would look like! It’s such a beautiful, fun colour for summer and I love the shimmery finish.

Hi Marsha, the packaging is beautiful isn’t it? I love the wooden caps! Definitely do give this brand a try if you can, I’ve tried so many different brands of nail polish and this is definitely the best I’ve found. Thanks for reading! x
