Linden Leaves has been a brand I’ve liked for quite some time now, and every product I’ve tried from them over the years, I’ve really enjoyed. When Oh Natural recently had a sale on their Linden Leaves range, I decided it was the perfect time to pick up a couple of things, including an eye makeup remover that I had been after for a while now. When I think back on it, I can’t believe some of the makeup removers that I was using… especially around the eye area. It’s such a delicate and fragile part of the body and some of the ingredients in the products I was using are rather questionable!
The Linden Leaves Soothing Eye Makeup Remover is an all-natural and totally safe makeup remover designed to take off even the toughest of mascaras. Combining white tea, chamomile, and eyebright, this product will gently remove makeup while also soothing the skin and ensuring the delicate eye area is protected. I simply apply a couple of drops of the remover to a cotton pad and gently wipe across my brows, eyelids and lashes. Most product will come off with the first wipe, while stubborn mascara may take a little more effort. I was half expecting a natural makeup remover to be less effective than a standard product, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! This makeup remover works just as well as the Garnier product I was originally using, yet the ingredients are all safe.
Now the formula does feel quite greasy when it’s sitting on the skin, but any excess product is easily removed from the skin with a warm washcloth. After I’ve used this product, the area around my eyes always feels really moisturised, and it’s just from the natural oils that are used. Some nights I struggle to remember if I’ve applied my eye cream already as the skin just feels so soft!
The Linden Leaves brand is beautiful and the Makeup Remover is no exception. The pretty bottle is clear with the Linden Leaves branding, and it looks gorgeous sitting in the bathroom. This product retails for $24.99 for 60ml. Since you only use a couple of drops each time, a bottle should last quite a few months. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this one again.
