Subscription boxes are proving to be super popular right now, with boxes ranging from food to jewellery to clothing. But how about a subscription box to help you get through that time of the month? Introducing Blaine Box, NZ’s first ever period subscription box.
Blaine Box is brand new to the market, and they launched in early September with their first box. It’s an easy way to get all of your monthly supplies while also getting some yummy treats and some pretty extras to help make that time of the month a little easier. I’m sure most women would agree that ‘that time of the month’ isn’t particularly pleasant, so being able to open up present and receive some pretty gifts is a lovely treat.
All women are different and have different preferences about their sanitary options, so Blaine Box offers up three different boxes to choose from. There’s the Pad Box (15 regular pads and 5 panty liners), the Tampon Box (15 tampons and 5 panty liners) and the Mixed Box (10 tampons, 5 regular pads and 5 panty liners). I opted for the tampon box as I hate pads with a passion, and I think the number of products included is pretty much spot on.
The sanitary products come in a pretty marble bag which I think is such a lovely touch. It’s also the perfect size to put your sanitary items in if you are travelling, and best of all no-one knows what’s inside! I was also really pleased to see that the sanitary products included are all from the NZ brand Oi. All of their products are made with 100% certified organic cotton and are also biodegradable. Oi products are what I personally use each month, so I was thrilled to see that they are included in these boxes.
The extra treats are what’s really exciting. Included in this months box is a Whittaker chocolate and two delicious tea bags from Red Seal. There’s also a beautiful notebook and a cute pen, as well as a beautiful greeting card which you can colour in if you wish.
You can choose to subscribe on a monthly basis for $25, or there are three or six months subscriptions available, and these work out to be slightly cheaper. Boxes ship on the 10th or the 22nd of each month and you can choose which date suits you best.
Please note: I was sent this product for consideration. These views are my personal opinion and are no way influenced by others. I always provide an honest opinion, so you all know which products are worth purchasing
