The Antonym Cosmetics “Noisette” Eyeshadow Quattro
A brand that I’m thrilled to have recently discovered is Antonym Cosmetics. These guys are eco-luxe to the max, with a range of beautiful makeup products, all packaged in the signature bamboo compacts. While they don’t have a huge makeup range, the products that they do have are beautiful, and they also have a stunning range of makeup brushes. I’ve actually purchased a few products from this brand now, and I plan to review most of them, but today I wanted to share one of my favourites – the Eyeshadow Quattro in Noisette
The packaging of these eyeshadow quads is truly breath-taking. The bamboo compact is incredibly unique and striking and the finish of the compact is perfect. The palette closes nicely with a magnet, and there is a generous sized mirror, making it easy to use on the go. There’s even a little double ended brush, which really isn’t bad as far as small applicators go.
The Antonym shadows are some of the most beautiful natural eyeshadows I’ve come across. They are well pigmented, and while they feel slightly on the drier side to touch (especially the shimmer shades), they are actually super simple to apply and blend. They also do not dust up and they don’t have any fall out, which gives them a big tick from me. There are four shades in each palette, all coordinated to ensure that they work beautifully together, with a mix of mattes and shimmers.
The Quattro Noisette contains four well-paired natural colours; a pale golden shimmer, a rich shimmery copper, a medium-deep reddish brown shimmer, and a dark matte brown. These colours are everything you need for creating a strikingly beautiful bronzed eye look. I absolutely love the copper colour, and it would look incredible on so many skintones. The pale gold makes for a great highlight shade, or as a soft wash of colour over the lids on a no-makeup makeup kinda day. The two darker browns are beautiful in the crease or at the edge of the eye, and both can also be used as a lid shade (I also often use the matte shade as a liner!)
The Noisette palette is one that I grab when I’m heading away and I want to be able to create a couple of different makeup looks. It’s so versatile, and quite compact and I could easily just use these shadows for a week or so. It’s definitely my favourite eyeshadow palette, and if you like bronze and brown shades, it’s a complete must-have
