Valentines Day Makeup Inspiration

With Valentines Day just around the corner, I wanted to share this pretty pink makeup look that I created. It’s a very soft and feminine Valentines Day makeup look, that’s really easy to achieve. It would work perfectly for a date night, a girls night out, or simply a pretty pink look to wear to work! This eye combo has been one of my go-to’s lately as it’s so simple, and this whole look takes only around ten minutes to achieve!

First I start off with the Vapour Beauty Soft Focus Foundation in the shade 115 and apply this to my whole face, then setting it with the Ere Perez Corn Perfecting Powder. The Vapour Foundation is quite dewey, so this setting powder helps to make it look a little matte and also helps it to last during the day. Next up I applied a pretty pink blush, and I love this one by Dr Hauschka (plus how pretty is that flower pattern!). I then applied a small amount of the Au Naturale Highlighter in Rose Gold to the apples of my cheeks.

On to eyes, and I filled in my brows with Ecobrow in the shade Penelope. For eyeshadow, I applied the Au Naturale Cream Eyeshadow in Bliss as a base, and then applied a little of the pink eyeshadow from the Dr Hauschka Eyeshadow Trio all over the eyes and blended into the crease. Using the cream shade from the trio I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes and under the brow. Using the brown shade, I also applied a light amount on my lower lash line (I always feel weird with out some colour on my lower lashes!) To top it off, I applied my Lily Lolo Mascara on the upper lashes only.

For lips, I applied one of my favourite pink lipsticks; Camellia Morning by Karen Murrell. This is such a wearable pink and it’s one of my most worn lipsticks.
