3 Pink Lipsticks for Spring

3 Pink Lipsticks for Spring

Spring is just around the corner, and so are longer, brighter days. It’s such a happy time of year for me as the flowers are blooming and everyone seems to be a little bouncier as we head towards sunnier days. I’m constantly convincing myself that everyday the days feel just that tiny little bit longer, and before long it will  time for barbecues on the deck in the sunshine!

Spring is also when many of us start to add a little bit of colour back into our wardrobes. While pink lipstick is totally a year-around thing, it’s one colour I absolutely love wearing in the warmer months. Since pink seems to be the colour of the moment, today I thought I would share with you my three favourite pink lipsticks.

Pink Lipsticks for Spring
L-R: Karma Chameleon, Bloom, Remarkably Red

First up is Karma Chameleon from ILIA which is one of my all time favourite lipsticks. It’s a bright, watermelon pink that’s lovely and creamy and very easy to apply with the crayon applicator. It’s long lasting and as it fades throughout the day, it leaves a pretty pink stain. These lip crayons are packed with nourishing oils such as coconut and sesame oil, so it’s no wonder that it feels so hydrating on the lips.

Second, we have the aptly named Bloom from Living Nature*. This beautiful mid-toned pink is the perfect every day shade, and I often keep this one in my bag as it goes with almost every makeup look and every outfit. It’s a very wearable shade of pink, and for many people it’s probably a bit of a “my lips but better” shade. The Living Nature lipsticks are long wearing and extremely pigmented, and are produced by a fab NZ brand.

Thirdly we have Remarkably Red by Antipodes*. This berry-pink offers a beautiful wash of colour to the lips, that fades to  natural looking stain throughout the day. The Antipodes Moisture Boost Lipsticks are my absolute favourite lipsticks,  due to their incredible pigmentation and long wearing formula. I’ve written already about Antipodes Remarkably Red if you’d like to read the full review

What are your favourite pink lipsticks? I’d always on the hunt for new shades, so leave me a comment with your favourites below!

Please note: All products marked with a * are PR samples which have been sent to me at some stage. These views are my personal opinion and are no way influenced by others. I always provide an honest opinion, so you all know which products are worth purchasing
