Vestige Verdant Skincare – Luxury Natural Skincare #ad

Vestige Verdant - Luxury Skincare

Vestige Verdant is a new luxury skincare brand to hit New Zealand and Australian shores. Hailing from Estonia, this brand has quickly become international and is now popular throughout the UK, France, Germany, and the Middle East. Vestige Verdant skincare is marketed as organic and cruelty free which means it gets the tick from me.

The Vestige Verdant packaging is classic and beautiful. I’m a sucker for black and white packaging, so the black packaging Vestige Verdant have used is definitely my style. It also looks rather glam sitting in the bathroom. Each product’s packaging is well thought out, easy to use, and mess free. The oil and serum are both dispensed via a rollerball method which is quite fun and adds an extra luxurious touch.

Vestige Verdant – Organic Peat Mask

Vestige Verdant so far have three products. The first product ever created by the brand, is still deemed to be their hero product. This is the Organic Peat Mask, and it is the most unique and interesting facial mask I’ve ever come across. This mask is made from organic sphagnum moss, better known as peat moss, which is basically decayed and broken down plants. The peat moss is filled with bioactive ingredients which help to detoxify the skin. It’s proven to be extremely effective, and this mask was created after over a decade of study of this wonder ingredient.

The mask is designed to work on all types of skin, including aged, acne prone, or sensitive skin. Since the peat has such detoxifying properties, it works to cleanse, tighten, and renew the skin, as well as restoring a balancing pH.

The mask is quite thick, however it smooths on to the skin easily. You can either use a brush, but I generally like to apply masks with my hands. You only need a small amount to get coverage across your whole face. The Organic Peat Mask has quite a unique smell, very earthy as you would expect. I can’t say that I like it, but luckily the mask only needs to sit on the skin for three minutes to work it’s magic. Once it’s applied, the smell starts to fade and once it’s washed off, it is completely gone. The mask is a bit like a clay mask, it dries quite quickly, and you simply wash it off with a wet facecloth. It comes off easily, and it didn’t stain my dark blue face cloth (which is always a bonus!)

After removing, my skin felt amazing. It was so smooth and soft, and just the tiniest bit pink from where the mask had improved circulation to my skin. I always use this mask at night and find the next morning when I wake up, my skin looks amazing! It is so glowy looking and looks so smooth. I have to admit that while the smell isn’t my favourite, this mask does a great job and is definitely one of my favourite masks currently!

Vestige Verdant – Rare Oil Blend

As I get older, I find myself opting for oils at night rather than moisturiser or night cream. I guess I’m hoping that the more hydrated my skin is, the less wrinkles I’m likely to get! The Rare Oil Blend from Vestige Verdant is packed with five oils from around the world – Patcholi Oil, Sea-Buckthorn Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Neroli Oil, and Argan Oil. All of the oils are sourced ethically and from certified organic farmers. They are then cold-pressed to ensure the properties of each oil, are contained within the blend.

I was really excited to try this oil, as I had read previously how good Sea Buckthorn Oil and Carrot Seed Oil were for acne and uneven skin. It feels lovely going on to the skin, and the rollerball application for an oil is quite fun to apply. The oil has a delicate, pretty scent to it, and it sits lightly on the skin. I don’t like heavy or greasy oils, so I was very impressed with how this one felt.

I use my oil at night, after cleansing and before going to bed. This allows the oil to absorb into my skin at night, and allows me to get the most out of the ingredients. I find when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels very soft, but not at all greasy, as the oil has penetrated my skin during the night. It’s for this reason, that I’m really liking this oil!

Vestige Verdant – Infinity Eye Serum

The Infinity Eye Serum was designed to moisturise the delicate area around the eyes, while also reducing puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. Apparently in trials, wrinkles were reduced by 45% in 2 months. Now I’m very lucky in the fact that I don’t actually have any wrinkles or dark circles, so any eye creams I apply are purely for prevention. Therefore I can’t really comment on how well this product works in terms of wrinkle reduction.

I’m usually a shocker for forgetting to apply eye products, and when I do, they are generally a cream.  I must say, it’s so lovely to roll the little rollerball over my under-eyes, and it’s much more relaxing and luxurious to apply than a cream. The gel-like substance feels very cooling under the eyes, and feels nice upon the skin. Much like the oil, the scent is very delicate and floral smelling and once it’s on the skin, you can’t really smell it much at all.

The only thing I wanted to mention about this product, was that while it is mainly made from natural ingredients, it does include a couple (phenoexyethanol and propylene glycol), that I don’t normally include on my blog. While these ingredients are of a lower-level risk, I just wanted to point this out, as The Lilly Mint Blog is definitely all about the natural beauty! So of course, it’s up to you whether you choose to use these ingredients and this product or not.

Overall, I have to say I’m impressed with this brand, and I really love the peat mask as I can see visible, instant results. Vestige Verdant is currently only available through the website, and is not yet available in stores. They do offer free worldwide shipping, which is a huge bonus!
