My Go-To Spring Dress from PinkBlush

PinkBlush Spring Dress

As the year goes on I am getting more and more excited for summer! I can’t wait for the long sunny days, and I’m so excited to get outside with Jack this year! Last summer he was only six months old and wasn’t crawling yet. This year, I’m going to have an 18 month old who I already know is going to love running around outside! He’s always so calm and happy when we are outside, so I can’t wait until the days start to warm up a bit!

I’ve already started adding to my Spring and Summer wardrobe, and I’m loving so many of the trends for the upcoming seasons! One brand I’m currently loving is PinkBlush. They are an online store that offer an amazing range of clothing for both mamas to be and for the everyday mama. They have so many beautiful pieces, which includes a maternity range, a womens wear range, and a plus size womens range and plus sized maternity range. They really do cater to every mum!  I really wish I had discovered these brand when I was pregnant as their maternity clothes are so on-trend and are so flattering!

How gorgeous is this dress? I’m loving these beautiful rust tones at the moment, and this dress is one that’s super easy to wear and style. The long sleeves can be rolled up or left down, making it the perfect trans-seasonal piece. The cinched elastic waist is also super flattering as it brings you in at all the right places and means you don’t need to worry about messing around with a belt.

This dress would also be perfect for nursing mamas, as the button down front offers the perfect access. Since it’s also nice and flowy it would also be really comfortable to feed in, and the elastic would allow for pregnant mamas to wear this style too! It’s really one of those pieces that could grow with you through your motherhood journey.

I love items like this that you can just throw on with a pair of booties and go. For summer, these are my absolute favourite kind of dresses and I end up living in them! To dress it up, add gold jewellery, a belt and heels.

I’m also super impressed with the quality of this piece. It’s 100% cotton, and is so soft and not see through. The shipping from PinkBlush was also super quick and my parcel was with me in less than a week (which from USA to rural NZ is amazing!)

Fit tips: I’m wearing a size Small. For reference I am 163cm (5’3), and am usually a size NZ6 (US size 2), and this fits me perfectly. It would work perfectly on a size NZ6-8.

Thank you Kathrine, I think I will be living in this dress this Summer! I love brown accessories for summer, but it would also look super cute with black too! x
