Messy Weekend Sunglasses Review

I think I’ve mentioned before how much I love my sunglasses and that I practically live in them year around. My eyes are super sensitive to light and often get really watery in the bright sun, so it’s not often you’ll see me out and about without a pair on sunnies on my face – even in winter!

I recently came across Danish brand MessyWeekend and they kindly offered to let me choose a pair of sunglasses from their collection, so I thought I’d do a MessyWeekend review. They have a huge range of different styles and shapes to suit everyone – from the classic black frames and lenses to funky clear frames and pink lenses…. and everything in between!

I opted for a style called the Brooklyn, which is a classic looking shade that comes in a gorgeous matt finish. You can get this style in five different shades, and I opted for the Tortoiseshell, which is a really beautiful colour and finish.

The MessyWeekend sunglasses offer full UV400 (UVA + UVB) protection. They come in a little pouch to keep them scratch free, and also a neat cardboard box which doubles as a sunglasses case.

As well as sunglasses, MessyWeekend also specialise in snow goggles, which is actually how they got started. This company also works to do their bit for the planet, with every pair of sunglasses sold, they donate to clean 2kg of plastic from the oceans.
